Piggyback

Huzaah!! My first (and most likely last) Beyblade art!

It was just an idea that popped into my head that I just had to draw. I used Rei's G-Rev outfit cause it looked easier of the three to draw. But I had only one small screenshot of Mao's G-Rev outfit...and I know I got some things wrong. But, all in all, I adore how this came out. Mao's fun to draw and Rei...his hair is a pain. You'd think after drawing characters like Yuugi and Yami no Malik from Yugioh that I'd be able to draw hair like Rei's right? But nooooo...

Anywho...you can interpret this as romance or friendship, whichever floats your boats. I personally like both. Yes, I like Rei/Mao and yes I like Mao. I adore her and I haven't even seen either series that have her in it. But I completly and utterly adore her from all the screencaps and spoilers I've seen/read. And I love the friendship she has with Rei.

I'm thinking of maybe tracing this picture onto a new peice of paper and practicing my shading with it. I really like how their positions came out...and I'd kinda like to see it up in the Art Show at AX....Granted, it's not my best...but it isn't my worst.... Suggestions? Helpfull hints?
